Thank you for supporting the cows of Ruru Gausewa Aashram. Donations are gifts, so they are usually not refundable, but mistakes happen and we will always put right a genuine one. This page explains how.

How giving works

1. You choose a seva, a sponsorship or an amount, and submit the form. You get a reference number, like GS-2410-0371.
2. You pay by scanning our QR (eSewa, Khalti, any mobile banking app), to our eSewa / Khalti ID, or by bank transfer, writing the reference in the remarks.
3. You send us the screenshot on Viber or WhatsApp. We match your payment and confirm, usually within 2 working days, and send photos when the seva is done.

We don't use a payment gateway, so there are no fees on our side: the full amount goes to the cows.

We never ask for your MPIN, password or OTP, by phone or otherwise. Anyone who does is not us.

When we refund

We will refund the payment in full if:

• you paid twice for the same seva, or paid more than you meant to;
• a payment was made in error or without your permission;
• we can't perform an occasion seva on the date you booked, and you don't want to move it to another date;
• we can't accept your payment under law (for example, foreign funds before we have Social Welfare Council approval).

Please ask within 15 days of paying. Send your reference number, the amount, the date, and the transaction ID or a screenshot, on Viber, WhatsApp or through the contact page.

How and when

Refunds go back to the same wallet or bank account you paid from, within 7 working days of us confirming the refund. We can't refund in cash or to a different person's account.

Sponsorships

• A monthly sponsorship can be stopped at any time: just tell us, and you won't be asked for the next month.
• If a cow you sponsor passes away, we'll tell you personally. You can move the rest of your sponsorship to another cow, or let it go to the care of the whole herd.
• Months that have already been paid for and used for care are not refundable.

Receipts and tax

We send a receipt for every confirmed seva when asked. We don't hold a tax-exemption certificate yet, so donations are not tax-deductible. We will say so on this page when that changes.
